GEHOM is a non-governmental organization and an arm of Mercy-Gate International Ministries Inc. a.k.a Kingdom Gateway Assembly. It stands for God Extended Hand Of Mercy — divinely inspired through the Holy Spirit to Apostle Caleb Chinedu Akandu, and anchored in Isaiah 61:1-8.
GEHOM exists for charity: giving free medical diagnosis, treatment, dental care, and eyeglasses to the needy and poor in our communities. It aims at reaching people and drawing souls to God through acts of charity — food, clothing, words of encouragement, and intercessory prayer, centered on giving hope to the hopeless, the less privileged, widows, orphans, and all those who have given up hope.

GEHOM has long been in existence, and was fully and officially inaugurated on the 13th of April, 2014. Till date, GEHOM continues touching lives in very special ways — drawing souls to God, and depopulating the kingdom of darkness.
